How did card, domino, and board games

ever become my muse

I learned numbers, math, and game theory

while gaining a competitive edge

Bidding, Betting, Holding, and Playing

I even learned to hedge

You made it into my wedding vows,

"I promise to always play to win"

Because what is the purpose of playing

if you can't end in a grin

I've played so many hours,

days and years of my life

I wouldn't have it any other way

without them only strife

I love you, all the games, it's true

there's even more games to look forward to
